to our Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
On Friday 3rd June we are celebrating her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee by hosting three FREE events throughout the day!!
We have two 'street parties' where attendees will be able to enjoy an afternoon tea, music and lots of good old fashioned community spirit. We will have a bouncy castle and face painting available for the little ones. We have a very exciting village art project starting- where you will be able to participate in creating a piece of group artwork, which we will be displaying in the centre celebrating this monumental occasion. Tickets have now all gone for these two events, as we were fortunate to be able to offer these for FREE!!! If you have a ticket and find yourself unable to attend, we are just asking if you could kindly return them so someone else can attend. The first party is 11-1pm and the second party is 2-4pm.
Our third event is our 18+ Band Night - Blurd Brits will be joining us from 7pm with their covers of Brit classics from Oasis to Madness. Blur'd BRITS are a fantastic Britpop Tribute Band. They are a LIVE 3 piece band including drums, keys and guitar, fronted by the fantastic Dave!! Giving you all the classic britpop hits from your school days to present day. We are very excited to be having a licensed bar on the night offering lager, beer, cider and wine. We will also be in the kitchen so you'll be able to get some british grub!! So we are asking all attendees to not bring their own alcohol. We have some tickets still available, entrance is free but you must collect a ticket from The Hungry Caterpillar.
